Get Cozy With Some Comfort Food In The Nest Cagayan de Oro

This was the favourite food I tried that night in The Nest

THE NEST

The Nest is the newest among all food places we visited in the "Best of CDO" Food Tour.  I have not been to this place so I was just absorbing everything I see.

It is located right beside Boy Zugba so we didn't have to ride the motorela this time.




It was already after sunset so the first thing that greeted me was their their porch entrance.  I saw curved cushioned furniture, flowers, and white baroque that make the place cozy yet busy.  I couldn't help but feel like I was entering someone's private home with a modern vibe.

"A home. A nest.  So that's why," I thought.  I finally figured it out.

This place had a personality of its own.  This personality also reflected on the pride they have for their food.

Nicely arranged burger slices with a side of fries and pickle slices

Wow.  The burgers were the juiciest I have tasted among local made burgers.  The patty cooked medium well, retaining the juiciness perfectly paired with half a pickle to give your tongue a rollercoaster ride of tastes.

The pizza was a crowd pleaser with its thin crust packed with pepperoni, bologna, beef, mushroom and pepper.  I loved that it was peppery because it wasn't like anything else during the food tour.

I will go back for that pizza for sure.  But, that ends our BQFC Best of CDO Food Tour.

Whoa!  That was a lot of food and I am very grateful for being able to try this BQFC Best of CDO Food Tour.  The variety of tastes influenced by different food cultures was a lovely experience.
